Our story
A controls practice that started on the network side.
Nio Controls grew out of Nio Tech, the IT and network company. Running cabling, networks, and cameras through New York buildings, we kept walking past the same thing: a boiler room running blind. Nobody knew the supply temperature until a tenant called about no heat. Alarms went to a panel nobody looked at. The service log was a clipboard on a nail.
We already knew how to get data out of a basement and onto a screen. So we learned the controls side properly and built a practice around one promise: you should be able to see what your boiler room is doing from wherever you are, and so should we.
Today Nio Controls handles boiler and burner controls, pump and hydronic controls, building automation, and remote monitoring for buildings across the five boroughs. Same people, same phone number.
